Flytouch II customization

Hi everyone,
I bought my Flytouch II from China directly for 2 months. It is a very nice PAD especially the built in LAN port which I can use it in my work.

I don't like the default 3D theme since it is too slow. So, I begin to root and install the ADW. Here are the APPs I installed.

Rooted:
-Z4root
- ConnectBot

Theme:
- ADW and Ubuntu theme

Boot Animation:
- Boot Animation Installer: change boot animation to nexus style :-)

Brightness control :
- Brightnes : a very useful tool which can save battery and have 8 level of brightness control

Market:

N-Maket (this is a chinese market)

OI File Manager
Startup Auditor
Quick Boot
WifiManger
Net Status
IP Cam Viewer (use to view my home camera)

There are many other APPs which cannot be run in this PAD, including:
- sca
- setCPU


There are some more APPs installed in my PAD which I cannot list all in here, but I will try to make a video and upload to youtube later.

What is Flytouch 2?

For those who are not familar with this PAD, this is a android 2.1 PAD. There is no news so far on how to upgrade it to Android 2.2, but this is already enought.

It is running a modified Android system called "WowPad", it is quite beatiful but slow.

New Android PAD - Flytouch 2

It has been several months for search a suitable PAD for myself. I don't like IPAD becuase there is no LAN port for it. As I need to working in a environment with many networking problem everyday, this Ethernet port is very important to me. Also, I am tried to carry my netbook, together with the power adapter, in my daily trips to and from my home.

So, finally I chose this PAD -Flytouch 2 and bought it from Taobao.

With only under HKD$1500, I can install anything and unlock it or...whatever I like. There is no need to worry too much as comparing to the IPAD which cost over HKD$4000
